I just wanted to send a quick update and let you know we’re not dead and we’re still hard at work on the new album. We’ve got all kinds of new stuff just about ready for your eyes and ears. If you missed it, here’s the latest Ask Shmoe that I put up a few months ago:
Also I just wanted to let you know we’ve been quiet NOT because of lack of things going on, but because of SO much new stuff being done. I’m beyond excited for the future and I just wanted to say thanks as always for the love and support you guys always show the band and me.
Today’s the day!! The brand new song “When The Clock Hits Midnight” is up and available for your listening pleasure! It features Rob Santogrossi on drums, Jon Brunner on bass, the awesome Garth Herberg on slide/lead guitar, and yours truly on guitar and vocals. It’s a toe-tapper and should give you a good taste of things to come. (You can check it out using the player above, or click HERE to go to my SoundCloud profile.)
Hey everyone! It’s been a long time since I posted last! It’s not because we have been inactive, we’ve actually been VERY active and working on a lot of new music. In fact on 12-12-12, I’ll be putting up a brand new track for you to hear. Get your dancing shoes on and prepare those booties for some shaking because it’s a lot of fun. The new release is coming along well and we’ve got about 65% of it done. A few more things to record and then it’s off to get it mixed and mastered. I can’t wait for it to be out there for you to hear. Once things get closer to being finished, there will be a whole bunch of new tunes, shows, merch, videos, Ask Shmoes, and other fun stuff. I couldn’t be any more excited for the future and I hope you’re going to enjoy it.
Thanks as always for the love and support. It means a metric-shit-ton to me and the rest of the band! Hope your lives have been going well, and I hope you enjoy the Holiday season. Stay tuned for more updates, they should be a lot more frequent now!!
Hey there, it’s been a while! I just wanted to give you an update on how things are going. The band and I are currently hard at work on new music. It’s coming along really well and I can’t wait for you to hear it. Definitely the strongest stuff I’ve ever written. It’s going to make you dance, while blowing your eardrums. Fun stuff. Sorry it’s taken so long too. If I had my way, you’d be listening to it right now and we’d be coming to play live in your town soon. Good things take time, and this is definitely a labor of love. But don’t worry… new shows, music, and videos will be coming your way soon!
Hope life has been treating you well, and I just wanted to say thanks as always for your love and support. It’s much appreciated. You’ll be hearing more news as things get closer to being finished. So until then, take care and I’ll talk to you soon!
A big thanks to everyone who came to our last show at the Key Club! It went extremely well, and it meant a lot that you were there. Here are some highlights if you weren’t there, or if you want to relive it!
We have more shows coming soon, including some dates in San Fransisco/Oakland. More info to come! I’m also working on a brand new EP that will kick some major booty. More info to come on that as well!
This is pretty huge…. We have a chance to play live at Flashrock.com! All it takes is 500 votes, so please go to the page and vote. Just select “Shmoe” from the list, then scroll down and hit “Submit My Request.” It’s seriously that easy. Click HERE to vote for Shmoe!
Hey, everyone! The last show went really well and I wanted to thank everyone who came. For those of you who missed out, here’s a sneak peek of a new song that we played at the last show, called “When The Clock Strikes Midnight”:
I’ve got some more big news. Thursday, June 2nd, we will be playing the Key Club on the Sunset Strip! It’s definitely going to be our biggest show to date and I’m really excited to have been able to get the gig. We go on at 9:00PM. I really hope to see you there!
Well, that’s about it for now. But I’ll have even more awesome news coming soon. Stay tuned and thanks as always for your love and support. It’s much appreciated.
